About Us
Adediran Steel Wire Industries (Nigeria) Limited is based in Ilesa, Osun State. The Company was incorporated in 1980 and was empowered to manufacture building and other Construction materials input amongst others. It was commissioned in 1992 by the former President Ibrahim Babangida. The Company was established for the purpose of manufacturing various metal products used in building and civil engineering construction. The installed capacity is 19, 852 tons per year of various steel products, based on one 8-hour shift per day and 250 working days in the year.
Our Location
The project is located in Ilesa, Osun State of Nigeria. The town is predominantly a Yoruba settlement, highly urbanized and one of the largest towns in Osun State. It is fairly industrialized and well connected to other parts of the country by a good network of local and interstate roads.
Access road to the industry is through the dual carriage Ibadan – Ilesa road alternatively through Akure – Ilesa road. The project location is well positioned with sufficient catchment region to satisfy the target / distributive market.

Our Aims
The emergence of wire and steel Industries in Nigerian was due to the urgent need for National development after the lopsided colonial administration and the concomitant need for deliberate and concerned reconstruction efforts after the Nigerian civil war. There was also an unprecedented demand for building and construction materials due to increase in welfare of the average Nigerians. The industry is fast expanding and highly competitive. The is due largely to the free trade policy of government and the conducive trade environment.
